FEMA Hazard Mitigation Acquisition (Buyout) Program:
The City is in the process of analyzing and considering participating in the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Acquisition program. Meetings are being held with property owners to determine needs of those affected by the flood. Below is a FEMA guide for applying to the buyout program. The City plans to continue to communicate and work with property owners based on their individual circumstances. The FEMA buyout program is a voluntary program.

Flood Relief Local Financial Assistance:
A local group has been formed to consider offering financial assistance to those property owners affected by the September 2019 flood. The local group is seeking to gain information from property owners to assess their individual financial needs.
